Spiritualized have been confirmed to replace Beirut as the Friday night headliners at this year’s Green Man Festival.
The announcement comes after Zach Condon cancelled every summer show his band were due to play earlier this month for reasons that he didn’t “care to discuss” but seemed to amount to some kind of exhaustion.
The other headliner to be confirmed thus far are Super Furry Animals who take the Saturday slot, while Sunday night’s will be announced soon. Iron and Wine, The National and One More Grain are other names on the bill.
Green Man takes place from the 15th ‘til the 17th of August at Glanusk Park in Brecon Beacons, Wales – tickets are on sale now priced at £105 (adult weekend, including camping and parking).
New tracks have recently been added to the Spiritualized MySpace page - listen here.
