Hot Chip have tired of twiddling thumbs and have announced their initial tour plans for the rest of the year.
There’s a new single, too – ‘One Pure Thought’ arrives on the 12th of May through DFA/Astralwerks, before a summer dotted with various festival appearances, (ATP vs. Pitchfork, V2008, Bestival, Glastonbury, Wireless et cetera).
After that there’s a headlining Academy tour, presumably sponsored by the worst beer commonly available at our nation’s taps. Here’s a thought Carling, why not work on improving the taste of your product before whitewashing the UK live circuit with your coin-fresh tang?

That's a lot of academies
I assume the London one is Brixton. How come so many tours are announced this far ahead these days, I mean 7 months, it's not like they're the rolling stones or something.
Leeds Carling Academy..
...where is this? I have never heard of this venue in Leeds before.
