Hyde and seek: good bands discovered on Wireless bill
Hark! Wireless’s under card is swelling now that the four headliners - Jay-Z, Fatboy Slim, Morrissey and Counting Crows - have been announced. It’s not shaping up too badly, actually.
Among the new additions are Saul Williams, Santogold, Black Kids, Jaguar Love and Cornershop (pictured). Not too bad, all things considered, though unfortunately Counting Crows’ day is still pretty much the worst festival line-up of all time.
But, of course, the magic of DrownedinSound is that you don’t have to take our word for it – see below, judge, pass comment if you wish.

...
The Counting Crows day is one of the worst lineups I've ever seen
Having said that...
... the Fatboy Slim day isn't too far behind.
I'm just bitter because they've abolished the Leeds one, which was actually quite a lot of fun last year. Even if it was decidedly slippery underfoot...
jaguar love!!!
sporadic!
are conershop sikh?
Tjinder Singh must be right? if so the headline really should be "Hyde and Sikh!"
jay z day looks good, doesn't it?
hot chip, jay z, santogold, hercules and love affair and saul williams are worth seeing.
and the Morrissey day...
... has Black Kids, Beck, Magic Wands and The National.
i wouldn't MIND going to jay-z/morrissey day
i wouldn't like, pay though. and i wouldn't watch morrissey. still, the other two days are cack.q
hmmm
mozza day - the national/beck/the whigs/black kids/jaguar love - that'll do
Get in
I booked my ticket for Jay Z and Hot Chip... not that bothered by Ronson or Roisin Murphy. But great additions... really looking forward to seeing Santogold live again. And Annie!!! Brilliant. Can't wait.
I'd definitely go to that.
Definitely.
I'd like to see Morrissey with Beck,
Delays, The Hold Steady and Dan le Sac vs Scroobious Pip.
For one incredible moment I thought that The Afghan Whigs were playing, but errr....they're not.
I'm tempted by Morrisey day
Nicole Atkins and the sea are great live.
you
do exactly what it says on your tin.
deffo
still better things to do though
I've said it before and I'll say it again
the best £20 I've ever spent. that's right fuckers, O2 2for1 tickets ftw!
