It takes a lot to make rock music sound good these days, so it’s a wonder White Denim make it sound so effortless. The blue-collar band reveal the full extent of their toil on debut album Workout Holiday this summer.
The record arrives on the 23rd of June through Full Time Hobby. Here’s what’s on the thing:
‘Let's Talk About It’
‘Shake Shake Shake’
‘Sitting’
‘I Can Tell You’
‘Mess Your Hair Up’
‘Heart From All Of Us’
‘All You Really Have To Do’
‘Look That Way At It’
‘Darksided Computer Mouth’
‘WDA’
‘Don't Look That Way At It’
‘IEIEI’
The band produced the record themselves, in a “silver metal, 1940s Spartan trailer, parked in the middle of the woods outside of Austin.” The band return to the UK for more live shows closer to Workout Holiday’s release, look out for a review of a recent London show to run soon on DrownedinSound.

I'm genuinely
excited about this
I've tried to like this lot
but they are so retro and cliched that I can't see the fun in them.
go see them live
they rock, and then some
