Mars Volta and Grinderman among new Latitude additions
Another half hour, another set of bands destined for a British field somewhere this summer - The Mars Volta, The Go! Team and Grinderman are among those just added to the Latitude line-up.
Tindersticks and Seasick Steve will also be at Henham Park in Suffolk from the 17th ‘til the 20th of July, along with the previously confirmed likes of Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, The Breeders and M.I.A..
Tickets for Latitude are on sale now, here, priced at £130 for the weekend. If you know about the Pimms' island bar in middle of the lake, you’ll already have yours.

2/3 is a good ratio
for a new announcement.
Cannot wait!
If I could just find someone who is up for Bestival too my summer will be complete.........
Mars Volta!
<3<3<3<3<3
They were so great at Brixton last month. I am doubly excited now :D
oh man
i have been defending Reading and Leeds all along but Mars Volta? :( Latitude is shaping up to be the ultimo festival.
Oh well, roll on Leeds.
That's still like
45 minutes.
They'll be headlining uncut
so they might get a longer set, late into the night... lets hope.
yep
wooooooooo
cant wait, so excited...
roll on smaller announcements, the smaller bands last year were so good... anyone remember I'm from Barcelona? The most genius choice for a headline slot in the sunrise stage ever... well in the two years of the festival. genius anyway. SO FUN!
This will be my first year at Latitude...
...and I actually cannot wait.
The lineup is already far better than I was anticipating.
But if Mars Volta do indeed clash with Sigur Ros like all the rumours suggest, I'm going to have to make some difficult decisions :|
Mars volta
all the way!
I'm probably being a bit of a mong
but I can't find a link to the music lineup from the website linked above- only Franz, Sigur Ros and Interpol on the "Click here for latest lineup" page. Anyone know an extended list?
yes indeed
website doesn't seem to be updated.
