Tapes n Tapes and 18 more Tapes: Her Name Is Calla release ltd edition cassette EP

You thought cassettes were out of fashion, right? Well, post-rock types Her Name Is Calla are releasing their new EP The Heritage on cassette. Only 20 of them, too. So you’d better pre-order before the the 9th of June release date and dust off your ailing, yellow '80s Walkman.

Of course you can get the six swirly, swooping songs from this Leicester-via-Leeds band on CD too, but where’s the fun in that? Pre-order from their label, Gizeh Records.

Lo, the earnest quartet are also playing live. Watch out for flying drumsticks at these dates – word on the street is that they like to fling them around at the conclusion of their slightly manic live shows.
