Radiohead have apparently agreed to play a free gig for BBC Radio 2 on April Fool’s Day.
The band will be at the BBC’s Radio Theatre in London, which holds 310 seated people or 425 standing. Either way, it’s pretty small.
If you plan on getting tickets to for the date, which comes ahead of this UK tour, you’ll either have to enter live radio phone-in competitions or call 08700 100 200, (follow extensions 2 and then 1) before facing the tumult of a random ballot for the 75 pairs allocated to callers of this number.
Tickets are only available ‘til Thursday, but “You'd be a fool to miss the concert," Radio 2 head of music Jeff Smith assures us.
