Animal Collective ready new Water Curses EP

Animal Collective continue to amass a back catalogue to intimidate future generations with the addition of the much-mouthed over Water Curses EP, set for release this spring.

Three of the EP’s four tracks were spawned from the same, fruitful sessions as DrownedinSound’s 10/10 rated album Strawberry Jam (review), and the record will arrive through Domino on the 5th of May, (May 6 in the US).

It’s the first three, if you’re interested that are contemporary to Strawberry Jam. The last is a cut produced at the Rare Book Room Studio in Brooklyn with Nicolas Vernhes, who recently roped in many fine friends - including the Collective's Avey Tare - to put together this compilation.
