Mark Ronson, Late of the Pier and The Cuban Brothers are among the live acts who’ll play the Bandstand double-header this summer.
The festival comes to Old Billinsgate in London on the 3rd of May, a Grade 2 listed building on the banks of the Thames, while Liverpool gets its dose a week later at the Carling Academy on the 10th. Curated by Rob da Bank (who also oversees Bestival and Sunday Best) the dates mark Bandstand’s debut.

“We love putting on outdoor festivals so we thought why not do one inside? In fact, let’s do two!,” shouted da Bank.
“Bandstand is a very British, eccentric celebration of music, comedy and performance taking you to another world. We hope this is the start of a series of landmark musical events for the UK.”
The first phase of tickets go on sale on the 27th of February costing £25 each plus booking fee and are available from the event’s website here.

I'm not usually one for slating something on here, but this looks TOSS and I hope nobody goes.
