Campbell and Lanegan back on the boil: new LP in May
- Artists:
- Isobel Campbell »
- Mark Lanegan »
Surprisingly successful chalk ‘n cheese combination Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan are to offer out a second album of recordings later this spring.
Following on from the Mercury Prize nominated Ballad of the Broken Seas, which was released in 2006, Sunday at Devil Dirt will be released on 5th May 2008. Recorded appropriately in sessions at both the Catskills Mountains and Glasgow, the record mines the same seams that made the first so successful. So we are told.
Further details are slightly thin on the ground, but expect more soon.
Hopefully, we'll have a new picture then, too.
