- The Twilight Sad »
Last year was a good one for epic, rock glory, rescued as it was from all manner of charting wet pawed spods and made cool again, in the winsome shape of Glaswegian quartet The Twilight Sad.
The band return to UK live stages towards the end of this month, continuing to trawl debut album Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters around the UK at these dates:
February
23 Stirling the Tolbooth
March
20 Edinburgh Liquid Rooms
21 Glasgow King Tuts
22 Aberdeen Moshulu
24 Manchester Night and Day
25 Nottingham Bodega
26 Reading South Street Art Centre
27 London 100 Club
28 Leeds the Brudenell Social Rooms
An album of reworked material is currently being finished up in the studio, while the sequel to last year’s DiS-approved debut should arrive in October.

As usual
I am all over that London date.
They totally
blew Idlewild away. The opening of Cold Days from the Birdhouse has everyone standing in silence.
I can't go.
*cries*
Leeds date
Isn't at the Brudenell, it's the Library I think?
.
we, Her name is calla, are supporting them at the glasgow and aberdeen dates. it's gonna be so much fun!
Reading date is for me
nice venue too
argh
can't make any of these dates. they are amazing live. also their singer is a really nice guy.
ps. hello smyth, we never usually meet like this.
AGAIN
ffs bands... the westcountry is where it's AT
it's not enough that you cancelled your date in Bristol, but you just leave it out this time???
cunce
As usual no gigs near me.
I hate Northamptonshire.
Yay!
They probably did the best British album last year. Missed all their gigs last year though. THAT WON'T HAPPEN THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!!
News of the World
In their top 3 albums list of 2007, The Twilight Sad were in it.
I find that peculiar.
