Tonight: DiS presents Wild Beasts and more in London
Tonight, DiS is out in force at the Monto Water Rats, London, presenting a selection of bands we reckon could make your listening in 2008 that bit more excellent.
Headlining we've Wild Beasts, the Domino-signed outfit from Kendal whose releases to date are perfect examples of Marmite-toned indie-pop, swaggering at odd angles and toe-tapping in brilliantly irregular style. That's them pictured, enjoying some swings. Swings, eh. Brilliant.
Also on the bill: School of Language (read our recent interview, why not), It Hugs Back and Banjo Or Freakout. Check out more details on these bands here.
Advance tickets for the show are available until 5pm, after which a limited amount will be available on the door for the sum of £9. Advance tickets can be purchased here.
Get all your necessary venue details from their own website, here. Doors are at 7pm. See you there!
