Slow Club head out on tour

Sheffield’s Slow Club will tour later this month ahead of the release of their debut album.

The as-yet-untitled record is currently being, er, recorded in the buoyant duo’s hometown, as they gather up annual tips from ‘cross the ‘blogosphere.

‘Blogospherical:

January
20 York Junction
21 Leeds Brudenell Social Club
25 Nottingham Lee Rosy’s Tea Room
26 Cambridge Boathouse
27 Manchester Night and Day
30 Brighton Barfly
31 Bath Moles

February
1 London Borderline
4 Cardiff Barfly

Chatter from Beccy: "In short, we're going in the studio today and in two weeks time hope to have made a hit record. Got a lot of tracking, tea drinking, arguing and 'can i just do that bit again?'-ing to do but we're really excited about it.

"On friday we're having all our mates down with guitars and booze and tambourines - hoping to have a huge singalong song on the album. which should be fun!"
