Foo Fighters release 'The One'
oappleby by Ollie Appleby December 2nd, 2001
The Foo Fighters release new track 'The One' via their official website while recording their next album.

Still hard at work in the studio, The Foo Fighters are recording their follow-up to 'There is Nothing Left to Lose' and a few other projects, including new tune 'The One' to be featured on the soundtrack to the teen comedy film 'Orange County'

The band filmed the song's video in New York last week with director Jesse Peretz who directed both the 'Learn to Fly' and 'Big Me' videos, according to Dave Grohl the new video promises to be great: "It should be hilarious, we won't be able to show our faces in public for a long, long time after this one."

The band are still writing songs for the new record including recently completed tracks 'Attica!' and 'Get Up, I Want to Get Down.'
