Stephen Malkmus readies new album with the Jicks

I’m told that I’m supposed to cover Pavement? Can I get away with not covering Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks? No? Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks will release a new album in March.
Real Emotional Trash will be out, through Domino (Matador), on the 3rd (4th) of that month (US). It’s kind of the follow-up to 2003 longplayer Pig Lib but it’s also kind of the follow-up to Face the Truth, which was released in 2005 but without the ‘the Jicks’ appendage.
Choose whatever you prefer:
‘Dragonfly Pie’
‘Hopscotch Willie’
‘Cold Son’
‘Real Emotional Trash’
‘Out of Reaches’
‘Baltimore’
‘Gardenia’
‘Elmo Delmo’
‘We Can't Help You’
‘Wicked Wanda’
The album was recorded in Montana by TJ Doherty, who worked on the newest Wilco record and Sonic Youth’s Rather Ripped.

i love stephen malkmus and the jicks.
hmm
loved the first album. Was disappointed by Pig Lib. Didn't bother with Face The Truth. Now unsure about this.
Face the Truth was really good
Probably as good as his first solo album.

Although nothing quite as good as Church on White or Jenny and the Ess Dog on there.
