Fuck Buttons: Quit jobs, release Street Horrrsing

What better a friendly reminder of this weekend’s Portishead helmed ATP Festival than with news of bleak-beated noiseniks Fuck Buttons’ ongoings?
Ready to deaden eardrums with their euphoric electronic sprawl, the pair’s debut record, Street Horrrsing, is due for release on February 11 through ATP Recordings, with Shellac’s Bob Weston having recently put the finishing touches to the six-track brute from his Chicago engineering bunker. Recorded with Mogwai’s John Cummings and Part Chimp’s Tim Cedar it seems safe to presume this is going to be one bastard racket.
Street Horrrsing runs. As follows:
‘Sweet Love For Planet Earth’
‘Ribst Out’
‘Okay, Let's Talk About Magic
‘Race You To My Bedroom’ / ‘Spirit ‘Rise’
‘Bright Tomorrow’
‘Colours Move’
Released last month, ‘Bright Tomorrow’ (review) now has a video as London skylines get fittingly drenched in Global Hypercolour:
Other than the ATP appearances, Fuck Buttons perform tomorrow at London’s ICA. An extensive UK tour has been penned in for early next year.

Why do you asterisk F*ck Buttons but spell out Holy Fuck in your article titles? Eh? Eh?
It's almost as though DiS is some kind of editor-less free-for-all...
I like them,you know.
They both seem like nice guys, and their live shows are intense and interesting, but everything that I've heard on record sounds pretty identical.
Joy!
I look forward to this.
Altho still, my copy of 'Bright Tomorrow' 7" still hasn't arrived. :(
oh really
andrew is quitting his job?
what will his mother say?
That video
is gorgeous!
These are ....
Brilliant! Not my sort of thing but they kept my attention for their whole set in Birmingham a weeks back and I'd definately go see them again
i cant get into them
everytime i've seen them i just think 'meh'.
i will listen to the record with open ears though and hopefully i'll be impressed.
Repent, the time of man is ended
the age of unreality approaches. I fell strangely drawn.
i say this on here too soon
and it arrives the next day! Fun timez.
