Swervedriver, Interpol side project bears fruit
The Setting Suns, the collaboration between Interpol’s Sam Fogarino and Swervedriver man Adam Franklin, have released their first EP.
Alas, the duo are yet to find a label to supplement a physical release – so for now, The Setting Suns EP is available through iTunes.
Tracklisting:
‘Cold War Kids’
‘Yesterday’s Flowers’
‘The Way Love Used to be’
‘Don’t go to Dream State’
‘Cold War Kids (Get Claudius)’
‘Cold War Kids (Cole Porter Kids)’
Talking about the collaboration, Fogarino beamed: "I've been a Swervedriver fan from the start, still am. I would have killed just to bang a can for Adam Franklin. now, he makes sense of my melodies, and turns our ideas into a beautiful din. I feel lucky and alive.... and a bit sick from my own sap."
Thanks to lyle for the pointer.
