Bearsuit? Sounds Furry!
mtaylor by Mark Taylor November 19th, 2001
Bearsuit are going wild this winter...

The best new band in the world are about to go into overload. Hold tight.

This week, the band travel to Sheffield for their first ever gig outside East Anglia. They play the city's new Sounds Furry club night, supported by Seachange, who are also great. Bearsuit promise new material will be premiered on the night.

The gig is on Saturday, November 24th, at The Grapes on Trippett Lane (off West Street, for those of you who care). For more information, click here.

Also before the end of the year, Bearsuit are set to release two new singles. 'DrinkInk' is coming shortly on Sickroom Gramophonic Collective, whilst their Christmas song, 'Snowshoe, (described as being about 'AT-AT walkers in the snow') is upcoming on Happy Capitalist records. Super.

And, as if that wasn't enough to send you into palpitations, Bearsuit are set to figure prominently in John Peel's Festive Fifty. Investigations at www.radio.plus.com have revealed the band's 'Hey Charlie, Hey Chuck' to have been the 5th most played record on the John Peel show this year. 'Chinese Whispers' by Melys has been played the most.

Sadly the survey does not reveal how many times either of these records might have been played at the wrong speed.
