New Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds album on the way
March 2008 will see the release of a new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds record.
Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! will be the 14th studio LP from the Australian act, and has been produced by the band in collaboration with previous Bad Seeds tweaker Nick Launay (2004’s Abbatoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus).
Due for a UK release on the 3rd of March through Anti-, there’s no word on anything so spurious as a tracklisting; though artwork has been provided by British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster.
We’re still waiting on confirmation of a US release date, as well as details of lead singles and tours – though the latter two are imminent, according to Pitchfork.

i spoke to martyncasey
at the josh pearson/ soulsavers show at bush hall a while back and he seemed to say it was the most 'straight ahead pop' album they had done....tho what that means is anyones guess. Apparently there is only piano on one song
Poppy Seeds
A pop record, with only one piano song? Hmmm, intriguing...?!
I <3 The Bad Seeds, and of course, Mr Cave
