Jason Molina, lynchpin of the Magnolia Electric Co, will be in the UK and Ireland over the next couple of months for a series of live dates.

The Chicagoan will head across the ocean for six dates, all of which are listed below:

November
28 Cork Cyprus Avenue
29 Galway Roisin Dubh
30 Dublin Crawdaddy

December
3 Manchester The Mint Lounge
4 Newcastle The Cluny
15 London Luminaire

Tickets for the tour range in price from €8 - €14 and £10 - £12.50; and support on the Mancunian and Novocastrian dates comes from Tiny Vipers.

does he really really look like Bill Berry in this photo?

I may well go to this, haven't heard all that much of his work (though do own and love one MECo album) but by all accounts it sounds like it'd be worth it.

Just bought my ticket too

Gutted when I missed him earlier this year. Any idea what sort of set he plays in these solo shows? Just new stuff or Magnolia/Songs:Ohia mix?
