Erm...
Is it just me, or are QOTSA outrageously overrated?
Hmm
I'm not sure they're particularly highly rated by anyone but their fans. If anything, they have a reputation as a fun band, which, having seen them twice, is fair.
^Truth
When I saw QOTSA, I got involved in what must be the only phallic-shaped moshpit I've ever seen. It was really weird and for a moment, no-one knew what to do.
Then we all fucked eachother.
I miss Nick
It doesn't feel like QOTSA anymore. Their gig in 2000 at Rock City was the 4th gig I'd ever been to or something. Ahh fond memories.
On sale from Friday 21st
Bristol. Oh yes. Unfortunately, at the world's worst venue...
outrageously underrated you mean
the standard hipster refrain is that they lost any semblance of goodness when Oliveri left. Which is a load of old cock really. The last two albums are extremely good
i might go to this gig in Manchester but, y'know, i'm lazy n ting. We'll have to see
Rock City
East Anglia avoided once again ! i havent seen them since 2003
yep :(
but I'm not sure that The Corn Exchange would have them and the UEA is
a) horrible
b) a bit too small?
Indeed.
I am so there.
i've been waiting for a newcastle date for years
and now one comes along i sort of don't want to go and have my illusions of how great they were shattered by the all new josh homme big band
is it worth going to see this qotsa?
rated r was sick
but yeh i think theyre really overrated, new album and one before were shite
yeah
basically
not as good, but still great
as am I!
woohoo!
Bristol...
Sold out. Boo.
How sold out?
Tickets are out on Friday 21st at 9am I read
QOTSA
are not overrated. You mindless cretins. They've made a couple of the best rock albums of this decade. You cynics need to learn when to use the term overrated.
A band criminally underrated are Kyuss, Homme's old band in the 90's.
been a long time..
since i last saw QOTSA play, so looking forward to this
for clarification's sake
you're right, it is just you
I LOVE
Kyuss. Kyuss led me to QOTSA.
yep
it's just you

Ireland....
No Irish dates.........Boooooooooooooooooooo! :(
how come
newcastle sold out before the tickets even went on sale?!
Rock City
Sold out within a few hours. I know they get top 20 singles and all, but I really didn't think I'd have to get to the box office any earlier than this afternoon to avoid missing out. I bought tickets to see them in Germany this summer ages after they went on sale. Looks like I'll be driving down to Birmingham unless I can find someone to hook me up with a spare!
