Eminem working on new LP

Eminem is working on a new studio album, his first in three years.

The rapper called into a New York radio station t'other day, reports Billboard.com, during a 50 Cent interview, to say of the new LP:

"I'm always working, I'm always in the studio. It feels good right now. For a while, I didn't want to go back to the studio... I went through some personal things. I'm coming out of those personal things. It feels good."

Eminem's label, Interscope, currently have no release date for the forthcoming album, the follow-up to 2004's Encore.

I thought he was giving up?

I still think some of his earlier stuff was great, pisses on Kanye and the like. I just wish he wouldn't keep singing about his bloody daughter all the time, does he really think anyone cares?
