You wouldn't want a cold beard: Devendra Banhart's Carling warm-up show

Devendra Banhart will play a show in Glasgow this month to warm-up for slots at the Reading and Leeds festivals.
The 'zany', 'mad', 'wrd' folk singer will play at the Arches on the 23rd of August - the Thursday before the music gets in the way of the party at the Carling sites.
Banhart's new record, Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon, is out on the 24th of September; so it wouldn't be too outlandish to say you can expect to hear some of that new material.
DiScuss: Devendra Banhart - wacky chancer or real deal? He's just gone down 2-1 in an office poll. I imagine you'd disagree with that.
