Les Dennis is to feature on their new single 'Diddleysquat' after the band, keen for his input, camped overnight outside the Carlton TV studios.
The Family Fortunes host provides a certain "showbiz authenticity" to the single, about money-grabbing quiz show contestants.
Frigid Vinegar's Alex Lusty: "An uncomfortable sleep in the van was rewarded when we managed to nab Les the next day on the way to filming.
"He liked the idea of a tune about money-grabbing quiz show contestants so much that we persuaded him to sing his part into a mini disc. EMI snapped it up the very next day.".
Les Dennis sings the line: "Stand up if you want to win a million, jump up if you want to win two."
