Rough Trade Shop Ditches All Their Records...
... apart from the new Aphex Twin album, 'Drukqs'. That's right - on October 22nd 2001, Rough Trade shops on Talbot Road and Neal's Yard, London, will be kitted out entirely with copies of Aphex's latest opus. Each album comes on heavy-weight vinyl in a 2-metre-wide cardboard sleeve, weighing in at 2 kg. Warp Records plan on shipping out 10 tons of records next week.
The last time Rough Trade cleared their shelves to make way for one album was The Sex Pistols' 'Never Mind The Bollocks', in 1977.
