Panda to your audience: Person Pitch tour DVD set for release

Panda Bear is to release a live DVD taken from his recent Person Pitch tour of the US.
Panda, aka Noah Lennox of Animal Collective renown, plans to give the DVD away for free, with a possible donation request for a bonus disc to recoup the $250 that the Bowery Ballroom charged to film onsite.
The footage was shot by freelance filmmaker 'Mike', who explains on his Eat Tapes website: “I am a firm believer that the greatest things in life ought to be free, music being one of those things. Because of this and my respect, appreciation, and gratitude for Panda Bear, there is no necessary charge for this DVD. It will be free.”
The DVD will feature one complete set from the four American dates, plus highlights from the other three, a Panda Bear interview, sets from opening acts and miscellaneous other stuff like soundchecks and audience responses. Fascinating stuff, we’re sure.
Animal Collective will release their hotly-anticipated Strawberry Jam album in September.
