Your girlfriend fancies him.
Devendra Banhart is working on the follow-up to Cripple Crow, his well-received album of 2005.
The as-yet-untitled album will be released, like the one before it, through XL in the UK. Currently in the studio - well, maybe not this exact minute - Banhart is working with Espers' Otto Hauser, Andy Cabic of Vetiver and Joanna Newsom's brother Pete on a new set of songs.
Banhart is to produce the album himself, alongside touring bandmate Noah Georgeson. As of right now Banhart has no European dates booked.

My wife certainly loves him
Not sure about my girlfriend
Badda bom cha
i played with him
well i got up from the crowd at the astoria and he let me play a song on his guitar. it was the bestest moment ever.
infact i shall never better that i might as well end it all now...
You'll never
remember it again either if you do.
I'm dribbling with anticipation.
Cripple Crow was great, a rambling, self-indulgent record that managed to be a lot of fun and tenderly beautiful at moments too.
And then theres the beard...
phone
nice to see him advertising mobile phones recently...these hippies eh?
i was there
I was at that gig at the Astoria, I wish I could have got up on stage, but I was to far back.
Thumbs up to you though
