Devo have announced a few dates for the summer.
The post-punk popsters of yore - you wanna sound like 'em, but chain't got the spunk - will play:
June
18 Brighton Dome
22 Birmingham Symphony Hall
23 Manchester Apollo
These dates will be the band's first over here since 1990. Need we really add anything more? Possible extra dates? Yeah, they're possible, for sure - as and when any are announced, if they are, we'll update y'all.
- Spotifriday #51 - This Week on DiS as a playlist
- Devo - Something for Everyone
- Spotifriday #49 - This Week on DiS as a Playlist
- DiS meets Devo
- Spotifriday #48 - This Week on DiS as a playlist
- Devo to feature in 100th episode of Futurama
- Santigold to produce Devo and climb Kilamanjaro
- Spotifriday #3 - This Week on DiS as a Playlist

The Stooges or Bjork.
Devo then the Stooges would work actually, hah.
Whip it
Whip it good!
Gutted
Wanted to see them, but I've just bought Glastonbury tickets. Think they say on their MySpace that their only festival date is Primavera (i think...).
surely they can make an exception!
i love devo.
I'm thinking...
Birmingham right now...
I'm tempted to play the waiting game though to see if there's more dates.
Im Stoked As This Year
I will be seeing all 3 bands left I wanted to see before I die....
Devo
Daft Punk
Beastie Boys
And my 21st birthday isn't until Sunday, I'm on a roll!
Sorry,
they're playing at Sonar, not Primavera.
Hope I didn't get your hopes up...
gaping hole
june 19th @ the dublin castle?

o-)
whenever i see the name Devo
i think of Devvo from Fat Pie dot com.
do i need help?
i might
be on holiday :(
brilliant
the Dome is a bit massive but this has to be done I think!
the cheap skate in me
doesn't wanna fork out £35 for a ticket
London calling..?
These British shows are within the same dates as the Jarvis Cocker-curated Meltdown at the South bank Centre.
Devo have to do London surely.
Too much of a coincidence?
The Stooges
are still amazing live! Don't let that shitty album put you off.
I'm sure this will be excellent and I hope it's worth £35.
WOW!
This has gotta be done!
£35!!!!
I can't wait to see them!!! Hold on... £35! I can't pay that - for 35 snuff I'd want them to sleep with me!
