The Cult, First UK dates in 6 years

THE CULT ANNOUNCE UK DATE:

The Cult now signed to Lava/Atlantic Records in the U.S. have just released the Bob Rock produced "Beyond Good and Evil", their first album for 7 years, which is; "a statement of unfinished business",

The band are pleased to announce that they will be playing Brixton Academy on August 27th 01. Tickets are £17.50 and are available from Brixton Academy box office and usual outlets.

The band are also playing the Reading (Sunday 26th August), Leeds (Friday 24th August), and Glasgow (Saturday 25th August) festivals in August, their first UK dates since 1995.

The Cult will be releasing their first single from the album in the UK on September 3rd. "Rise" has already been released in the U.S.A. and is still No. 2 on the Mainstream Rock Chart. The band are currently on a major tour of the U.S.
