Disco man Calvin Harris has laid into Bloc Party for being too pretentious.
Speaking to The Big Issue in Scotland, the magazine's spiritual home, the man who got the idea for his name from me had this to say:
"A lot of these people think they're changing the world with their music, but actually they're just boring the shit out of everyone.
"Like Bloc Party - they are rubbish. They make very tedious music. What kind of person is going to make all this music and not make one single tune? What's the point?"
Not one single tune? Is that why I've had 'The Prayer' stuck in my head for the last three months? What about 'Banquet' or 'So Here We Are'? Surely tuneful. Surely?
