New White Stripes record out soon

Jack and Meg White have confirmed details of a new album to be released "as soon as corporately possible".
"And though we are tired, worn, weary, hungry, cold and left without an ounce of nutrition amongst ourselves," the statement continued, "we are in the midst of planning performance type shows around the world."
Icky Thump was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, where Jack now lives. It is The White Stripe's sixth and most time-consuming effort, taking the band three weeks to record and mix.
Below are the names of some tracks that are expected to appear on the album, though they are of course subject to change:
'I'm Slowly Turning Into You'
'Catch Hell Blues'
'Little Cream Soda'
'You Don't Know What Love Is (Just Do As You're Told)'
'Rag And Bone'
'Clicky Bump'

I hope You Don't Know What Love Is
is a cover of the jazz song. I'd love to hear them do that. There's an amazing cover of it on a Czars EP I have and I think the Stripes could do it perfectly.
This record could be fantastic.
I thought Jack was still busy with The Raconteurs
but it's nice to know there's a new White Stripes record on the way sooner rather than later.
each time
a white stripes record is announced, i always think the album title isn't what i'd expect from the white stripes
and once again...
3 weeks?
Their spend on a record must be nothing.
Jack = rich man for sure.
How Long
Did Jack et al spend recording The Raconteurs album?
Icky Thump?
Goodies fan, is he?
White stripes...
Better than raconteurs, happy to see that he still seems to hold stripes as the priority.
Raconteurs=flop
that is why he's committing to sista
Icky Thump?
Shouldn't that be 'Ecky Thoomp'? Has he been listening to a bit too much Arctic Monkeys or something?
White stripes
continue to put out records.
The world is a beautifull place to be sure.
WOOT
!!!
Apparently...
Mr White's married to a girl who went to my secondary school (and later became a model).

He may have picked up the lingo there?
When they release a record called 'Up the Latics' or 'Spittin' Feathers' my suspicisions will be confirmed.
RONG
Elephant is great and 'Santa' has some really great moments. PLus they've been brilliant live both times I've seen them. Jack's a proper mental rockstar character and they're a pretty good example of how to cross over from niche and weird into megastars and almost almost keep yr cred*.
*if you don't count the coke advert and The Raconteurs.
*and
his fat, hairy face.
Meg White, though. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmsandwich.
Meg White=secret to White Stripes success?
It's pretty weird: her looks are improving dramatically with age. And she radiates this kind of superstar cool that seems effortless. I think it's time to re-evaluate the Stripes: Meg's not just along for the ride. She's crucial.

to see why, she is a sexy naked lady!
