Competition: wanna direct the new EITS video?
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly February 1st, 2007

"Have you ever dreamed of making a video for your favourite band? Well now you have the chance! We're looking for young directors and EITS fans who would like to shoot a video or short movie which captures the moody and dynamic atmosphere of Explosions In The Sky’s new song 'Welcome, Ghosts'.

...and so begins the EITS video competition.

Running from 29th January 'til 17th February, the winning video will be posted online at myspace.com/eitsvideo and will spend a week on the main page of MySpace Germany.

The victors will also receive vinyl copies of new album All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone (released February 19) plus a pair of tickets to a gig of their choice. To cap it all, they will also get the chance to meet and greet the band and bask in the glory of their own acheivement.

To enter, you must first sign up to the Bella Union newsletter - which you can do here. Then, you have to upload your video here. Once it has been checked, it will be set live on the site. The winner will be announced on February 19th.

Jolly good luck, and all that. Check DiS before the album's release for an interview with EITS's Michael James.
