Dear DrownedinSound,
You're idiots for not telling us that Metric were doing the Bloc Party gigs which sold out in like half a millisecond, now I can't go see Metric and sing my little heart out to Monster Hospital. I absolutely hate you. Sort it out.
Peace,
Bobby Fuller,
17 Oxford, England.

Metric release their new single 'Empty' on February 12th; it's taken from their much-loved album Live it Out, which is out now. The single will be available as a limited-edition 7" backed with a remix of 'The Police And The Private' by Howie B. Check back next week to see the video for the single, find out more about their new album - which they've just started working on - and about Emily Haines' solo album release in the UK.
DiScuss: What do you expect the video to look like? Have you still got the refrain of 'Monster Hospital' in your head going bam-shick-bam...? Howie B?

Monster Hospital is so so so SO good
So why can't I immerse myself into anything else from the album? Lord knows I've tried.
i love the first two tracks and monster hospital
but i was underwhelmed by the rest. going to listen more though.
still like to see them live
got a ticket for dingwalls
has anyone heard her new solo album on a random note.
pretty ace imo
Going to the Brighton date
it's 16+ but I have an out of date Bus ID representing that I'm 16.
emily's solo stuff
=swish
best track is Our Hell, imo.
i...
i actually don't really like monster hospital much and never did when i first heard it.
my fave song on the album is patriach on a vespa
it is kind of annoying that everyone seemed to find out about metric supporting bp a little too late (no pun), but its happened before with other bands anyways. plus i'm not a fan of big venues, like birmingham academy is too large for me to have fun anyways.
no
Dr Blind is the best
:(
Has nobody heard of the North of England? Liverpool, Manchester etc?
:(
:/
Has anybody heard of the NORTH of England? Teesside, Cumbria etc.?
Also, when is Handshakes gonna be a single? 'Cos it should be. 'Cos it's good.
Word.
