The Shins announce US tour

US indie-rockers of hella DiS love, The Shins, are to tour the US next month before crossing the sea for a one-off show at London's Astoria.

The tour comes in support of the band's new album, Wincing The Night Away, due out on these shores on January 22 via Transgressive/Sub Pop. American fans will have to wait a whole 24 hours more for the album, as is typical. Why are albums released on Tuesdays in the States? Anyone...?
