I haven't 'got' them yet, but many a friend and foe informs me that The View are fairly The Hotness Right Now. With this in mind, it seems only right to inform you that the Scottish four-piece have announced some tour dates.
The band - who release their debut album, Hats Off To The Buskers - on January 22 - kick things off on January 29. Maybe you'll want to go to one of these shows? Chances are you won't see me at any.
Unless I 'get' them, while drunk, on Boxing Day.

I don't get them either
they're very average and instantly forgettable
they are a young white all guy four piece
who sound vaguely like a number of other bands around at the moment.
I've tried but I can't see how they can fail
New single:
Brimful of Asha rip off.
This band are average but the 1st single was quite good.
They will be huge - but it's an imgage over substance thing I'm saddened to say.
Don't "get" more than that myself
they wont fail as they sound
the same as everyone else.
but they are part of the domino recycling machine.
The singers hair annoys me
but that has nothing to do with their music
I don't think it has anything to do with imgage,
or image for that matter. They're all fairly ugly and not exactly dripping with charisma...Luckily for them they're quite good at doing what people seem to like at present.
I really don't like these guys
probably because of their Fratellis esque image.
But notice how there's only 1 date in the south.
that's a bit shit, i think.
lots of bands seem to be avoiding the south, thinking london is south enough.
Bristol? Exeter? Reading?
bands don't go south of London because of all the werewolves and shit.
:'(
False alarm.
Its only the NME tour.
Old news, DiS. Old, old news.
I'm gonna go and be anti social now, because of this.
they were rubbish
live.
the lead singers hair is the best thing about the band as far as I am concerned. he was the only one who had anything about him on stage.
they also had these 2 stupid girls with the most ridiculous hair extensions on stage prancing around during wasted little djs - totally ruined a top tune
after that i couldn't watch any more and left.
this band baffle me completely
they don't have any better tunes, singing, musicianship, lyrics, charisma or looks (in fact in fact from the bassist (?) they're probably one of the ugliest bands around) than the average toilet circuit band. at least with most shit commercially successful bands you can at least see where the obvious commercial potential is. if i were some record company stooge i'd never have invested in these guys in a million years.
also in the video for their new single
the singer reminds me so much of janeane garofalo
WARNING:
TOUR TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS
New video
is great, for the gratuitist shots of Dundee.
I do hope they get their "house in the Ferry"...
my opinion on this band is
arsed.
yeah
& guildhall is a pretty crap venue for a band like that anyway.
..
oh goody, james endeacott perpetuating the same post-libertines sub-par shite.
lily allen???
go way little boy
YEAH!
Them two girls ARE the Wasted Little DJs, MAN!
