Brandon and Borrell, sitting in a studio, stinking up a song...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver November 20th, 2006

Word on the inky tabloid page is that Brandon Flowers (pictured) and Jonny Borrell are to collaborate - to duet! - on a cover of Dire Straits' 'Romeo And Juliet'.

If you've not 'icked up your lunch already, your guts are made of stronger stuff than mine. I can barely type for all the soggy lumps.

The frontmen - of The Killers and Razorlight respectively - are to get together for the cover for a Live At Abbey Road television show, so reports The Daily Star.

Today's daily star is Bo Derek, since you asked. The actress is fifty years young today.

Says Flowers, though, of the collaboration:

"We're going to do a cover of Dire Strait's 'Romeo And Juliet'."

Thanks, Brandon! He also said something like this: "'America 'is my favourite Razorlight song. It's not negative so I can't see why people in the US wouldn't like it. It's just a great song."

Flowers then revealed he quite obviously wasn't serious about liking said song of utmost shiteness by adding that he likes Kasabian and hoped they could break America. What a joker!
