Bono: better than the bible
The Mirror is reporting that Bono is making inroads in his quest to literally be God.
The 'U2charists', growing bored of traditional Christian hymns, are now belting out versions of 'With Or Without You' in 150 churches spread across 15 states.
15-year-old Bridgette Roberts had this to say: "It makes you, like, warm inside." She may have God, but she ain't got grammar.
If you're interested, head to the U2charist Myspace. Or you could go here, where I found those happy chappies on the right. She was baptised during a U2charist congregation.

That girl ain't got God
because as any regular round here will know - Grammar is God!
The Cult of U2 - a scary thought.
I'm sure Bono is behind this all
...getting bored my arse...he's most probably paying them to do it.
you know, i've spent three minutes looking at the calendar
and it STILL is not April 1st.
Is there anything more scary?
Than people worshipping Bono?
And the charity that the single them and Green Day is raising money for? Just plain silly really.
This
is the greatest thing I've read all day.
Jeez, I'm going to cop some flak for this...
... but I approve.
I don't like U2.
I REALLY don't like Bono.
I don't believe in God.
But U2 lyrics seem to be more humanist than religious and I'm happier with religious folks brainwashing themselves with hymns to noble, universal emotions, rather than to a fictional superbeing.
Its depressing
How stupid some people are.
Worship through pop songs i just cant see how it can work.
I also REALLY dont like Bono.
