Foals sign to Transgressive Records

One of our favourite new bands is ready to take on the world.

Oxford's Foals have signed a deal with Transgressive Records, home to Jeremy Warmsley, The Young Knives and more.

The rhymthically-led five-piece effortlessly mix Don Caballero guitar meddling and Kompakt Records-esque intricate drum styles, making them as listenable as they are danceable.

We're excited about this, as is Tim Dellow, co-founder of Transgressive Records:
"We're completely thrilled. Foals are the most important and different-sounding band I've heard in so, so long. They're essentially making a completely new style of music."
And if I'd just signed a record deal, I'd want my bosses saying that, too...!
