It's my excited (but tired) duty to announce the final details for tomorrow's funfest-o-rama in London's 'fashionable' Bethnal Green.

First things first... you have until 6pm today to send your name to alldaylist@drownedinsound.com to secure yourself a space on the £4 guestlist. After then, door prices will be £5 before 7pm and £6 thereafter.

REMEMBER... the venue has changed to The Pleasure Unit in Bethnal Green, that's just around the corner (clicky here. clicky clicky.) from Bethnal Green tube.
Doors are at 4.30pm

Scarecrows 5pm (awesome ex-Murder of... post-rock)
Tired Irie 5.45pm (set to release their fantastic debut 7" through Try Harder later this year)
Optimist Club 6.30pm (intense math-core with bags of personality)
Peace Burial at Sea 7.15pm (soundscapery and dark musings from the North East)
iLiKETRAiNS 8.05pm (introverted, dynamic and just a little disconcerting...)
Kubichek! 8.50pm (two gigs, one night - wonderous funk-pop love)
Redjetson 9.45pm (DiS Recordings' skygazing genii)
iForward, Russia! 10.35pm (this week's NME cover-darlings, danceable ATD-i wonderment
DRINKING 'TIL 2am

PLEASE NOTE: Being on the £4 list does NOT guarantee entry, get down early it will be very, very busy.

Yup, me too. :D

Though I was so wrecked and exhausted from my party the night before I had to leave after iForward Russia...then I directed Star to the wrong direction tube platform and went to the wrong one myself... Hmm...

I can tell you it was pretty hot on stage! It was such an amazing day - one of the best things we've been involved with. What a line-up, what a vibe, amazing fun and I felt very privileged to be involved. Thanks to all that organised and all that came. Happy memories...

Yeah, but it's ALWAYS ridiculously hot on stage. I only remember one gig where I didn't sweat like a stuck pig and on that occasion I was very ill. Hence I drummed the whole gig wearing a heavy cotton jumper and fleece. It was my first gig with The Burning Hull and people wondered if I was some kind of lizard.

Fair enough - sweat is good.

All I can say is that my personal experience is different from yours and I find that there are varying degrees of stage heat.

Night & Day in Manchester and last Saturday night are up there as my hottest - i.e. start pouring with sweat before I've even played a note - I like it hot though I must say.

Ah. I am very susceptible to the heat. Mum's Scottish genes, I think. Suffice to say that I am no fan of the summer and so I think I get on stage and am immediately the sweaty beast from hell.

On Saturday I was clad in my jeans and while it was warm, I felt no need to go outside for some air. It felt quite pleasant. Maybe I was standing under and aircon vent. :-/

i was to attend this, but my good friend (well ... previously good friend ... ) assured me it was definately on the sunday ... low and behold, i awake on the day to find out i have missed out on beer + bands i so wanted to see ... so to all who did attend, i hope you die slow and painful deaths. :)
