Everyone’s favourite acoustic dude will be returning to the UK for a series of dates in November.

Following his heavy-duty American tour, which comes to a finish at the end of this month, he’ll be entertaining at the usual major UK cities (including the token Scottish one), concluding with three nights in London, and asking for £30-35 in return.

Dates are:

November
15 Nottingham Arena
16 Manchester MEN Arena
17 Glasgow SECC
18 Birmingham NEC
20-22 London Brixton Academy

And that’s pretty much all there is to be said on that matter.

Re token Scottish date, Dylan played Glasgow Barrowlands on 24th June 2004. This is a much smaller venue than he'd normally play and the gig got great write ups. This was on top of the normal SECC gig of the tour. Performing a second gig in Glasgow on the tour hardly points to token. Maybe London was the token gig of the tour.....

Steph Nelson must NEVER be allowed to taint these fair pages again. If he/she does I predict civil war or me pushing out my bottom lip and looking sulky at the very least.

but it does have to be offset against the fact that the cities/large towns are, essentially, hellholes.

Hahaha. I bet that Token Glasgow venue is Tiny like the other Venues he's playing on that tour, iknow that NEC is half the size of the King Tuts ;).

Do DIS writers run their stories past an editor before they stick a size 11 in their mouths?
