Noise. 65daysofstatic excel in making it, making it beautiful, epic and loud. The good news is, they're back on the road (in fairness, when aren't they?) this October, taking their perennial friends Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies to the majority of the dates!

Both bands are working hard on new material, in between DJing at DiS night and running around the country behaving like imbeciles. Somewhere in between all of this, they've managed to make time to book the following jaunt around our hallowed shores:

We tried. The Joiners tried. But it couldn't be done. Maybe next time. Southampton in autumn will be an even duller shade of grey than normal without them.

Hey.

A couple of responses...

No Norwich - Sorry! I know this is getting ridiculous now, but we could only the 14th - 23rd because of work commitments.

No Southampton - This is 65's tour and not ours. 65 felt that as they have played S'ton quite a lot in recent months they would miss it out this time around.

No Birmingham - I think most people know our thoughts on this place :)

Not playing all dates? - We were only ever going to play these 10 dates (plus London). We didn't book the tour so have no idea what was conveyed to promoters.

Ymss definitely AREN'T playing Truck.
65 definitely ARE.

Remember that Ymss will be touring in our own right once our album is done. This is just a bit of a warm up...

Great to have this confirmed - saw the listing on the Cardiff Barfly site and was wary. Also very glad as I missed the full YMSS set in Sheffield due to an early start-late train clash.

And if Q Magazine think the sax wig out is pretentious on CD its even more so live - woo!

Nottingham for me, I guess. I too would like to know what YMSS 'thoughts' on Birmingham are - as far as I know they have never played here, only Wolverhampton.

DeadSeaNavigator / Podge9 - We've played in Birmingham 4 times now and have been met with nothing but bad feeling / indifference... So we're understandably not super-keen on heading there again any time soon. Especially when there are so many places that we haven't ever played.

MethadoneBoy - we played Dublin and Belfast last year and will definitely be over to Ireland once we tour the album.

Try and wangle your way into Capsule's good-books. They put on great gigs and the crowds are usually quite uuup-fer-it, for a Birmingham crowd..
