Put 'em up, Jigga, them Chinese folks don't want you in their 'hood, yo.
Yeah yeah, Hov', you've 99 problems and this is one of them: your plans to play Shanghai have been scuppered rather by the country's laws on swearing. And stuff.
The Shanghai Daily reports that the rapper's lyrics - containing references to guns and drugs, et cetera - aren't exactly welcomed by the relevant authorities. Now his gig in the city, due to happen on October 23, has been cancelled.
Back in April, The Rolling Stones were told not to play certain provocative songs while performing in the city. We guess Jay-Z doesn't have enough clean material to complete a set.
