In a heart-gladdening move, Radiohead have announced that they will offer their whole back catalogue to charity download site War Child Music.
The move will see the Radiohead oeuvre online in its entirety for the first time ever. Previously, the only record by the band available on line was 2001's 'Amnesiac'.
War Child raises money to help children in war-torn areas and was founded in the mid nineties, with the famous War Child album, created by the cream of the era's British music contingent in merely a day. Radiohead contributed 'Lucky' to that compilation - the first time it had appeared as a recorded song.
Still no news of new Radiohead material sadly, however a DVD containing video clips and other unreleased sounds is now available in the shops after being available only on the band's website initially. It's called 'Most Gigantic Lying Mouth of all Time'.

"Still no news of new Radiohead material sadly"
Well, there is a BIT... They have two new tracks that they've performed recently "House of Cards" and "Arpeggi" - Apparently they've almost finished recording that one.
They are definitely working on new stuff though, Thom Yorke posted something on their messageboard saying they've been recording.

a couple of new songs, 'Arpeggi' and 'Glass Flowers' are floating about, the former from Jonny Greenwood's recent Radio 3 thingy, orchestral and Vespertine-ish, and the latter from Thom at a protest, a spiky ballad. both are excellent. House Of Cards sounds good too but i've only heard a forty second clip.

Some Radiohead chart positions:
Creep: #7 [September 1994]
Street Spirit (Fade Out): #5 [February 1996]
Paranoid Android: #3 [June 1997]
Karma Police: #8 [August 1997]
No Surprises: #4 [January 1998]
Pyramid Song: #5 [June 2001]
I think There There went into the top 10 as well.
Obviously, thats without mentioning that all their albums were top 10 hits.
If you're going to bring something so irrelevant as chart positions into an arguement for slagging a band, at least know what the fuck you're talking about first.

It's not there yet - alas, there don't seem to be any Pablo Honey-era b-sides, although there's a curiously titled "Pablo Honey Bonus Track #1", although that may just be the 'clean' version of Creep..
