A Streetcar named, um, emo? F4AF offer new material...

Bake a cake and fire those party poppers, Funeral For A Friend have a new single.
The quintet will pop 'Streetcar' into the shops on May 30. Well, Atlantic/Warners will on their behalf. It is taken from their upcoming album - number two (*titter*) - Hours.
The single is produced by Terry Date, known for his work with Deftones and on the new A single. Whooop whooop. A date is also a dried fruit that can be added to a cake. WHOOOP.
Oh, and F4AF have added an extra date to their summer tour. July 12 sees them hole up at the Astoria, London. So there.
No butter icing, I'm on a low-suger diet. POOP!

I wish they would poo off, for poo's sake.
They're poo, by the way

I'm suprised they have such a high rating on here... 4/5 seems a bit generous, doesn't it?
Even if the ratings do mean shit all.

It sounds like you've been eating a different variety of cake all together...
I have more respect for Funeral than Lost Prophets based purely on the fact that they don't mind being Welsh, whereas LP are hellbent on being American.
Sad little sheep lovers.

They've got from now till the end of the 2006 tax year to turn a profit or they'll be dropped. It's hard to imagine them succeeding where better bands like HIFH and 100 Reasons have failed *unless* they really sell-out and water down their sound to slick FM radio friendly proportions. They're definitely careerist enough to bend over and take one for the industry. It's either that or they definitely will get dropped. Yourcodenameis: milo will definitely get dropped too being on Polydor/Fiction because they don't appear to want to put out anything vaguely commercial, which beggars belief in the flawed wisdom that made them sign to such a poor label for guitar rock bands that don't write stadium ballads for lighters.

i thought their first album was excellent. looking forward to seeing where they go with the 2nd. sometimes you gotta take one for the industry, and I wouldn't mind the odd radio 1 friendly single on the album if it meant the continuation of a band i like.

F4AF are better than a lot of bands at the moment,so don't even think of dissin' them...their first album was amazing and the 2nd is very good to.
Go and see them live (if you can) and you will see that they are an amazing....
and btw, they are NOT an ugly band, they are quite stylish infact...
