Led Zeppelin's Plant plays gig for his neighbour

Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant is to perform at a one-off gig to raise money for an ill neighbour.
Plant's neighbour and friend Jackie Jennings is receiving treatment Stateside for a brain tumour; it is hoped that Plant's show at Kidderminster Town Hall, later this year, will raise at least some of the £25,000 needed to cover the treatment costs.
The gig is to take place on December 23, so hopefully Jennings will receive a potentially life-saving Christmas present this year.

End of The Road Festival
would it not be easier
for him to just give them the £25,000? Shirley that's peanuts to him
and also
this way, he gets more money as well. everyone's a winner
perhaps he offered and was declined
you know how some people can be about direct charity.
I saw him...
...do a charity gig there last year. It was crap but for a good cause. He did blues covers all night.
!
good on him. He's the nice one out Led Zeppelin, apparently he ran over a puppy in a corvette in the 1970's and had to have a 3 year break from touring cos of it!
rob plant...
...is a geezer.
