Coldplay to concentrate on family life for as long as five years...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 2nd, 2006

Coldplay singer Chris Martin has said that the band's current priorities centre upon their families, and that it may be a long time 'til the band returns with new material.

Quite what the band's label thinks of this, we don't know. But it's not like they've not made any money from their albums to date, is it?

Martin said:

"It's going to be a long, long time before you hear a new album from us. We've done a few things, but we're all enjoying having families at the moment.

"If it takes five years for us to feel ready to record something new, then so be it. We need plenty of time to let it come together organically."

Like expensive potatoes in Sainsbury's? Fresh!
