The Rolling Stones' Keith Richards has told your music bible Q that modern drugs are, like, rubbish.
"I think the quality's gone down," said the guitarist, recently spotted by DiS playing guitar. "All they do is try and take the high out of everything.
"I don't like the way drugs now are working on your brain area instead of just through the blood stream. That's why I don't take any of them anymore."
Richards did enjoy a little morphine following his infamous fall from a coconut tree earlier this year, though: "I've had a couple of weeks on morphine. I did try to squeeze a little bit more out of the night nurse. She was very accommodating."
The Rolling Stones are still old, especially Charlie. He looks a lot like the man that offers me sweets in exchange for a quick flash of my tackle. He's a keen angler.
