Cat Deeley leaves CD:UK. A nation switches off
disnews by DiS News February 18th, 2005
Saturday morning TV buoyant, Cat Deeley, is to leave CD:UK after six years.

The former teen favourite (as in all the teens are now twentysomethings and they all still fancy her) is looking to spread her wings. Which of course means ‘weekend evening telly’, which she’s doing at the moment by presenting Stars In Their Eyes. Which can’t really that that different from most of what’s on CD:UK.

Random quote from publicist: "I've had a great few years, met some really incredible people and been given some wonderful opportunities."

"While obviously I am really sad to say goodbye, I am immensely excited about the future."

Mmmmmhmmmm.

DiScuss: What are your favourite Cat Deeley CD:UK moments? Did you prefer it when she was doing SMTV with Ant and Dec? Did you sense frission? Did you know that DiS saw Cat in Richer Sounds once?
