I didn't think anyone really cared about them... obviously I was wrong.

i didnt think they were that famous here ... also, is it just me or is their album particularly a bland "rawk" album which manages to be considerably less than the sum of its parts ?

yeah first album was a bit disappointing but i'm hoping the new one will be better....if they live up to their histories, i wanna go to one of these gigs anyway

I was very dissapointed. I really loved Cochise and Like a Stone but the album was very poor.

*laughs* heh heh heh
Re: UK mini-tour for Audioslave
judging by Chris Cornells solo album, the Audioslave one was pretty much what i expected...and the only main difference is in the musical style, they still have a very (laid back) RATM sound.
I liked the album :)
I liked the album :)
Re: UK mini-tour for Audioslave
have to disagree. after cornell's rather great songwriting on his solo album, i really wasnt expecting such boring stuff on the audioslave record. also something seems to have happened to his voice between the release of euphoria and the audioslave record so that he just sounds a lot less amazing vocal wise...compare his vocals on something like Wave Goodbye and Cochise and its just a letdown.

The 'Audioslave' album is awful from what I remember of it. 'Cochise' still rocks even if it is Morello just redoing everything he did effects-wise in 'The Ghost Of Tom Joad'. I'd agree that Cornell's gone very lyrically downhill since 'Euphoria' as well.
Audioslave
Soundgarden was brilliant and RAM as well , they did their worse
