Oasis add Newcastle dates to summer residency

Last century’s phenomenon, Oasis have added a further two dates to their summer assault on the UK.

The quintet, who are set to deliver their sixth studio album this year, will play two nights in Newcastle. Those dates are:

July

12th Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
13th Newcastle Metro Radio Arena

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, 12th February.

The band have also revealed that they will be playing sizeable dates in the US in June with Antipodean rockers, Jet.

Isn't it time they split up? Maybe it's mortgage repayment time or something. Talk about desperate, creatively bereft careerism. These guys beat even the Manics for that.

I'm Up for it, mad for it and all the other 90s catch phrases that WILL come back into fashion.

As a result of the depressing 80s revival, i think the saddest words i've ever seen written recently were "like the 90s never happened"....
